Ambition Facing West
For Christmas I bought Louise two tickets to see the play "Ambition Facing West" at the Mountain View Center for Performing Arts. We saw it today.
It was a bit hard to follow at first, as three stories from three different times and generations are intertwined, but once we got into the rhythm it was quite good. It dealt with immigration, covering issues such as why people leave their country, what happens to the country and people left behind, chasing opportunity vs. being happy where you are, and the circle of life. Plenty to think about.

A significant topic for a play, where you live! I need to go to more live theatre, I have a couple of standing invites.
Sounds very deep and meaningful...relevant today too.
It is good to see you back to the important things in life, blogging!!!
